Two companies that bear the former president’s name were found to have run a 13-year scheme to defraud the government of tax revenue.

The attorney general has been investigating Trump and his company's finances since 2019.

The Trump Organization and Weisselberg have been hit with charges related to a years-long tax investigation by the Manhattan district attorney’s office.

After January 6th, the suit states, de Blasio “denounced President Trump in the most inflammatory terms,” and "incited others to terminate business with Trump-related entities."

Letitia James' office informed Trump Org. CFO Allen Weisselberg of the investigation in January, according to the NY Times.

The New York Attorney General's office had originally been involved in a civil investigation into the former president's company.

Wollman Rink and Lasker Rink were expected to close Sunday evening, but City Hall announced late Sunday the rinks would remain open for the rest of the season.

The Trump Organization currently runs two skating rinks and a carousel in Central Park as well as a golf course in the Bronx.

"For months, the Trump Organization has made baseless claims in an effort to shield evidence from a lawful investigation into its financial dealings."

Trump's name has been scrubbed from the rinks.
