Suspicious powder

Port Authority Police responded to reports of a suspicious white powder.
Some envelopes contained a note: "This is a reminder that you are not in control. Just in case you needed some incentive to stop working. We have a little surprise for you. Think fast."
One of the incidents is at 180 Madison Avenue, at a Wells Fargo branch at East 34th Street, where three people were reportedly exposed.
All of this seems very 2001 until you see that in the past week or so, institutions across the country have been plagued with this "mysterious powder."
