Stand your ground

Sharpton and others are urging for a federal investigation into civil rights charges against George Zimmerman.

Zimmerman was released midnight.

"I am the real George Zimmerman," the site reads, a fact confirmed by Zimmerman's attorneys.

The office of the special prosecutor, Angela Corey, released a statement saying, "The decision should not be considered a factor in the final determination of the case."

If there is to be any outrage before all the evidence is heard in court, it should be directed at Stand Your Ground laws that allow citizens to kill other, sometimes unarmed citizens, with impunity.

Surveillance video obtained by ABC News seems to contradict the police report about the Florida man who fatally shot an unarmed teenager walking through a gated community at the end of February.
