St patricks day parade

After a pandemic pause for two years, thousands of revelers, including Mayor Eric Adams, came back to celebrate.
Here's what streets will be closed on March 17, 2022.
The parade would have brought around 250,000 marchers and 1-2 million spectators to the streets of Manhattan during a pandemic.
Sunny skies, small town vibes, and lots of day drinking out in Queens.
Councilman Joe Borelli said he was physically prevented from marching in the parade after organizers spied a rainbow flag pin on his jacket, and two high school marching bands were reportedly also forced to leave the parade route for wearing rainbow stickers.
More than a million people were expected to march and watch (and day-drink) at the annual parade today.
It's a Friday St. Patrick's Day.
Suburban Belle Harbor once again hosted the Queens County festivities, and the day-drinkers turned out in force.
The St. Patrick's parades begin this weekend.
The big parade marched up a mile-and-a-half of Fifth Avenue and lasted for about five hours. Meanwhile: youthful celebrants got drunk in the East Village.
Erin go bragh!
There's one in the Bronx on Sunday, then the big one in Manhattan, followed by one post-St. Pat's march in Brooklyn.
