South ferry station

The MTA is continues repairs to the station, which was devastated during Hurricane Sandy.
There wasn't much fanfare to the event according to transit enthusiast Brian Weinberg, who was onhand to see the 5:02 a.m. 1 train become the first to open its doors at the newly reopened station.
The MTA is going forward with re-opening the "old" South Ferry station tomorrow. Just make sure you're in one of the first five cars.
Better an old station than no station!
A lot of critical electrical equipment was damaged by the seawater.
