In a case of trolls-trolling-trolls, celebrity lawyer Gloria Allred has called on Florida prosecutors to charge oxycontin aficionado Rush Limbaugh for calling Georgetown law student Sandra Fluke a "slut" and a "prostitute."

Fluke said, "The statements he's made about me over the air are personal enough, so I'd rather not have a personal phone call with him."

After a week of slut shaming and bloviating, Limbaugh apologized yesterday. But it seems his rambling mea culpa wasn't good enough for most: more politicians criticized him today, and more advertisers have left his show.

After widespread criticism for his remarks, Limbaugh has doubled down on his blathering rhetoric—and he's lost multiple sponsors, Fluke is considering suing him, and even Republicans are sick of his nonsense. [UPDATE: Rush apologizes!]

President Obama called Fluke to lend his support in the wake of Limbaugh's inflammatory statements against her: "He encouraged me and supported me and thanked me for speaking out about the concerns of American women."

"What does it say about the college co-ed Susan Fluke [sic] who...essentially says she must be paid to have sex—what does that make her? It makes her a slut, right? It makes her a prostitute."
