New Jersey's largest city is becoming increasingly unaffordable for its residents.

The federal monitor, who has been overseeing the police division for five years, says his team’s work has been delayed by the pandemic.

The city has converted seven containers into 20 units, with bunk beds and heaters, which will house individuals or couples.

The Census is ending a month early, on September 30th.

The decision caps a years-long fight between Newark and its police union that began in 2016.
