The New York State Nurses Association filed three lawsuits to push for better working conditions for nurses.

“I feel like this is my calling, and this is where I belong. Every time I go home, I feel like there's another patient out there that I can help, another family I can support.”

"If in 1940, we could completely restructure the entire country to make weapons to fight in a war, then we could have the ability to restructure a couple factories to double or triple their N95 production."

'When you have four to five patients, you say, ‘I’m going to concentrate on one kid, perhaps the sickest kid,’ and you tend to neglect the other patients. I feel horrible having to do that.'

Other Westchester hospitals say it's normal for babies to be restricted to the maternity ward until they are discharged.
