According to police, the 35-year-old woman was running through a wooded area of Bronx River Forest park at 8 a.m. on Monday when she encountered the man.
The accused man was reportedly tracked down after he hung on to the victim's iPhone.
The attack took place on April 20th.
Police describe the suspect as being about 5'10" to 6' and 180-190 pounds with short hair and a goatee.
The incident happened around 5;15 a.m. when the suspect approached the 23-year-old woman from behind as she was jogging inside the park.
The alleged groper was arrested by the end of yesterday. And he was turned in by his mom!
"It's sort of a tragic coincidence," said a friend of one of the brothers. "Two men who in some form or another took care of themselves...Yet this happened."
The man appears to be 60 years old and was jogging in the park on December 31, 2013.
The jogger had been in Forest Park at 4:30 p.m.
This is the second attack of its kind in Forest Park this year.
21-year-old Saul Alvarez allegedly grabbed a 29-year-old woman running on East Drive near East 106th Street at around 10:45 p.m. Saturday night.
"That’s really scary," one fellow jogger said. "I’m horrified by the thought that there is a predator on the loose with a stun gun."
