Some of the noteworthy failures right now are Jason Giambi is 1-for-12 (.083) Johnny Damon 2-for-18 (.111) and Robinson Cano 2-for-19 (.105).
And when the hitting isn’t clicking you need great pitching and the Yankees didn’t get that Saturday as Andy Pettitte struggled in his return from the DL. Andy gave up eight hits and five runs in his season debut as he struggled all day. The Yankees will try and avoid being swept tomorrow afternoon.
