Hurricane jose

'If you live in vulnerable coastal neighborhoods, take steps to protect your property.'
As you may have heard, our weather for the next few days is going to be strongly influenced by Hurricane Jose.
With 85 mile per hour winds, Jose remains a category 1 hurricane as it slowly moves north toward New Jersey, Long Island, and New York City.
The conditions are even being called 'life-threatening.'
The storm has been downgraded to a Category 1 hurricane, and can still cause dangerous conditions in Long Island even if it doesn't make a direct hit.
Beware the dreaded cone of uncertainty.
When the surf is up, exhaustion is satisfaction.
September has started out cold, with the first ten days averaging more than 5.5 degrees cooler than normal, but that is about to change.
