A Brooklyn woman was arrested on Tuesday morning for assaulting her fellow D train passenger in Sunset Park, spitting at her, hitting her with an umbrella and a set of keys, and using a racial slur.


The good Samaritans spotted him and though he fled, they managed to nab his backpack.


"I said, 'You got [the driver], right?' The cop said, 'Nobody got a good look at him.'"


A man threatening subway riders with a razor blade was neutralized by one fearless straphanger who successfully talked the unhinged man off the train without resorting to violence.


A group of good Samaritans helped lift a car off of a hit-and-run victim in the Bronx on Friday.


The suspect, who has a number of prior arrests, has been charged with robbery, grand larceny, menacing and weapons charge, among others.


"Apparently this man does this quite frequently," said hotel manager Michelle Satanik. "Just a really nice guy and humanitarian."


“I think the men who helped are awesome,” the girl's mother said. "I thank God they were there because she could have died. She was pinned under the car from her neck to her toes."


The elderly driver accidentally backed up onto the sidewalk, pinning 51-year-old Elizabeth Castillo underneath, and also hitting her 3-year-old grandson, Tyrese Owens, and 17-month-old Tashaya Spivey.
