The fight for a living wage has expanded rapidly since NYC workers began the charge in November of last year.

84% of workers surveyed revealed they had experienced at least one form of wage fraud; nearly half had experienced at least three different kinds of wage theft.

Workers from 27 fast food establishments across the city will rally for a wage increase and the right to unionize without fear of reprisal.

Last night Times Square was filled with protesters demanding a living wage for fast food workers.

"McDonald's says billions and billions served and they aren't even offering sick days or able to pay you for an honest days work? That's some bull... ish!" City Council member Jumaane Williams told workers yesterday.
