Cycling crashes

According to police, the boy was biking east on 47th Street at around 5:42 a.m. when he collided with a Honda van traveling southbound on 12th Avenue through the intersection.

The Daily News has showcased another cyclist/pedestrian accident this week, reporting on a biker who hit a woman on the Queensboro Bridge, fracturing her skull.

The NYPD spokesperson said that the van remained at the scene, and there is no criminality suspected.

An 18-year-old cyclist was left in critical condition after being struck by a yellow cab on Park Avenue at 108th Street last night.
