Columbus avenue bike lane

The NYPD is making at least a decent show of cracking down on misbehaving motorists, yesterday apparently issuing a spate of tickets to trucks double parked along an Upper West Side bike lane.

The City Council passed legislation yesterday requiring the DOT to notify Community Boards whenever it plans to install bike lanes. To mark the occasion, NY1 got classic comments on bike lanes from local residents.
