On Wednesday, the senate ended its legislative session by refusing to vote on the Child Victims Act, despite Governor Cuomo's repeated promise to survivors that this was the year the legislation would finally pass.

The bill has less than a week to pass the Senate in the current session.

With only a few days left in the legislative session, advocates are furious with Cuomo's silence on a bill extending the statute of limitations for abuse victims seeking justice.
