We caught up with Valle to discuss what life is like now that he's infamous.
Valle sat down for a hearty garden omelette with the Post this weekend to give them an update on his love life.
"I kind of wanted to provide and be a little more graphic, and kind of not disappoint—again, the competitive side in me came out."
Today, a federal appeals court voted to uphold Gilberto Valle's innocence.
"It's fine to have fantasies. It's not fine to attack women."
"This is the first time I'm really opening up about all kinds of freaky stuff, you know, cannibalism and bondage," he said.
Gilberto Valle is a spry, 30-year-old recent divorcee, and with his lawsuit behind him and a new career on the horizon, it's time to get back on the dating wagon.
"It has always been our position that Mr. Van Hise engaged in fantasy role play with Mr. Valle and many others," one lawyer told the Post.
His lawyer said, 'Gil is guilty of nothing more than having unconventional thoughts.'
The judge deemed the police officer's musings as 'fantasy role-play.'
He and a cohort were allegedly plotting to bring dark fetish fantasies to life.
