Police are searching for a gunman who opened fire on three people at a busy Crown Heights intersection on Friday night.

The shooting took place at the corner of Union Street and Nostrand Avenue, just outside the Brooklyn Wing House, at 7:30 p.m., according to authorities.

An 18-year-old man was shot in the leg, a 28-year-old man was shot in the neck, and a 33-year-old was hit in his back and his leg, police said. All three were taken to Kings County hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

According to witnesses, one of the victims darted into the just-opened Brooklyn Wing House, where he was then followed by the shooter.

"There was a scuffle outside that had nothing to do with the business at all, and the guy ran inside to save his life," David Spence, the restaurant's owner, told WABC 7. "It happened that he ran to the kitchen and I believe the shooter followed him and ran to the back alleyway and onto the roof."

A separate victim reportedly sought refuge in the nearby Tony's Pizza. “He was very nervous, he was shaking,” pizzeria owner Ernie Buono told the Daily News. "He was bleeding pretty bad. I had to tie it up with a belt."

Ede Fox, a candidate for city council, was also in the area at the time of the shooting.

"I'm saddened to see this horrible act of violence just steps from our campaign office," Fox said in a statement. "I am hoping that those injured make a speedy recovery, and that the perpetrators are brought to justice."

The cause of the shooting remains unknown, and a police investigation is ongoing.
