It's been taken down already, but earlier today the @YankeesPR twitter account posted this tweet, which was most likely meant for a personal account. The young PR lady, hanging in the dugout on Old Timers' Day, admits, "I look very confused. Who are all these old farts? LOL." NYY Stadium Insider says it all: "Good to see the Yankees are hiring PR folks who truly care about the storied history of the franchise."

NYYSI later retracts the snark, saying the knock was "somewhat of a personal vendetta" against Yankees PR since nobody in the franchise ever returns its calls. But NYYSI also asks, "How is someone who manages the PR Twitter account for a name as big as the Yankees allowed to also manage their personal Twitter account via the same client?" It's at least more interesting than, "Free melanoma screenings @ Trenton Thunder ballpark on Sun 8/15." The savvy PR lady was probably just trying to get more followers!
