Smartphone snatchers aren't just on the subway!

Police say that this past Thursday, just after 2 p.m., a 32-year-old woman was walking near 93 North 9th Street in Williamsburg—where the Social Security office is—when someone suddenly "approached her and attempted to take her iPhone 5 from her hand."

According to the NYPD, "The victim struggled with the suspect who was able to overpower her and remove the phone." The male suspect then fled the scene; police released images of him.
