Newsday reports that "the body of a white woman" was found this morning as police searched for missing 29-year-old teacher Leah Walsh (pictured). A staffer at the North Hills Country Club found the body and called the police. However, the police say it's "too soon to say" if it is Walsh; Detective Lt. Kevin Smith said the body is "an unknown victim" of "an undetermined homicide... Other than [the body being white] we haven't been able to identify the body at this time. We believe the body has been there over 24 hours." Walsh has been missing since Monday morning--her car was found on the side of the highway.
