A woman walking near the intersection of Waverly Avenue and DeKalb Avenue in Clinton Hill was repeatedly punched in the face by a mugger who shoved her to the sidewalk and stole her purse last week. Police say the victim was walking home from the train station around 10 p.m. on Tuesday, March 28th when she was attacked, just a couple of blocks from the Pratt Institute campus.
Today police released surveillance footage of the suspect, who was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black bomber jacket, grey sweatpants and dark grey high-top sneakers.
No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
