A woman claims that she was sexually assaulted on the Upper West Side, and that poor lighting at a construction site allowed her assailant to hide and wait for her. The 21-year-old victim says a man lurking in the shadows created by construction walls outside 235 West 75th Street attempted to rape her, but she fought him off and summoned the police. Now she's suing the company that erected the walls, Eagle Scaffolding Services, and in her lawsuit obtained by the Post, alleges that the company made the area "a danger and a hazard and a trap."
No arrests have been made in the case, and Eagle Scaffolding has not commented on the lawsuit.
