A fight between two women at the Gansevoort Hotel ended after one used a stiletto heel to stab her rival in the thigh.

It's unknown what initially provoked 24-year-old Marie Thys around 2 a.m. on Sunday, but DNAinfo reports that so fiery was her rage at a fellow party goer that she procured the heel—possibly from her foot, but possibly not?—and thrust it into the unidentified victim's leg, puncturing her skin.

The victim was treated at a nearby hospital, and Thys was charged with assault with intent to cause physical injury and assault with a weapon.

Such behavior is old hat for the Gansevoort—earlier this summer, V. Stiviano was attacked outside its doors, and last year, a disgruntled tourist tried to skip out on his bill at The Chester, the hotel's restaurant, punching through the building's glass door before attacking a pair of cops attempting to arrest him. OK, see you guys there Friday!
