As we previously reported, a woman fell into the tracks at the 59th Street-Lexington Avenue station yesterday and was run over by three cars. Three cars! Amazingly she landed in-between the train tracks and survived unscathed. Trains were only delayed for about an hour. Not that she wants to talk about it.
The Post got a reporter to the scene yesterday and they found 52-year-old Renee Bluestone shaken from the ordeal. Apparently she had been having trouble with her vision in the moments before she fell. At the sight of the reporter Bluestone seemed to realize that her story might be of general interest and became agitated: "I don't want anyone to write about me," she said before covering her face. "I don't want anyone to see me. I don't want anyone to see me."
And sure, who wants to be written about when you are feeling fragile and just had a near-death experience. But Ms. Bluestone, if you read this, don't be embarrassed! You just got run over by a subway and lived to tell the tale. Lady, you've got a killer cocktail conversation starter for life. Own that shit!
