A woman screaming for help after getting trapped between two buildings in NoHo was rescued by cops in Manhattan early Sunday, an NYPD spokesperson confirmed.
A 36-year-old woman fell several feet from the roof of a building on Mott Street near Bleecker Street, becoming trapped between two buildings on the block about 4 a.m. Sunday, an NYPD spokesperson told Gothamist.
Two Ninth Precinct officers found the woman trapped several feet down between two buildings, after receiving a 911 call about someone "yelling for help," the precinct said on Twitter.
The woman was on a rooftop with friends but disappeared after falling through a cover on the roof that gave out, according to ABC 7 New York. The Ninth Precinct added that she fell about 15 feet down between the two buildings.
Emergency responders pulled her through a wall on the third floor of a building, ABC reported.
The NYPD spokesperson added that the woman, whose name has not been released, was taken to Bellevue Hospital and sent home after an evaluation to make sure she was okay.
