The NYPD is looking for a woman they say punched another woman on the 7 train in Queens yesterday afternoon.
Cops say the incident happened at around 3 p.m., onboard a Queens-bound train headed to the 46th Street Station. A woman approached the 38-year-old victim, who did not know her, and allegedly punched her in the face.
According to police, the suspect had been arguing with another individual on the train and thought the victim was staring at her.
The suspect also allegedly snatched the victim's phone and threw it onto the platform at 46th Street when the doors opened, shattering the screen. Police say the suspect fled on foot; the victim retrieved her phone and refused medical attention, having suffered redness and swelling to her face.
The victim did manage to take a cell phone shot of her alleged assailant before the attack, which you can see above.
