A woman was killed and a man was seriously wounded in a post-Halloween party shooting early this morning in Brooklyn.
Police found Ciera Glenn, 25, dressed in a witch costume, and her boyfriend Tyree Shelton, 27, in a pool of blood in the lobby of the Sheepshead Bay Houses building. Glenn had been shot several times in the chest, and was instantly killed, while Shelton, who lives in the building, was shot in the face. He was rushed to Coney Island Hospital in critical condition. Police believe the couple were jumped in the lobby after attending a Halloween party, but aren't sure of motive yet. "I opened the lobby door and I saw the young girl dead. There was blood in the elevator, blood on the walls. I saw about six shells close to the body," neighbor Luke Kopelakis, 71, told the Daily News.
Early Friday morning, two people were shot in Hampton Bays after an argument over a Halloween costume contest.
