Just after midnight, a woman was killed on Linwood Street in Brooklyn. According to WABC 7, "A 55-year-old woman was shot and killed in brooklyn early Wednesday after what is described as an ongoing dispute with her landlord... It is believed she had not been paying her rent. Police have not made any arrests, but are reportedly interviewing the landlord."
