A 38-year-old woman was killed while crossing an intersection in Crown Heights yesterday morning, and police say she was the victim of a hit-and-run driver.

According to NBC New York, "Police responded to a 911 call at about 7:30 a.m. Sunday reporting a pedestrian struck by a silver vehicle at the intersection of Eastern Parkway and Troy Avenue in Crown Heights." The victim died at King County Hospital.

Witnesses told police that a silver vehicle kept moving eastward on Eastern Parkway after hitting the woman. Police are seeking the driver of what they believe in a silver Audi.
