A woman was killed after flying out of the rear-passenger seat of a moving car in Bay Ridge last night.

According to police, 29-year-old Danielle Arronsen was thrown from the 2002 GMC Envoy after the driver, her 35-year-old husband, made a right turn on Bay Ridge Parkway from 5th Avenue around 11:27 p.m. This occurred after the rear door mysteriously popped open. She was taken to Lutheran Medical Center with major head trauma, where she was pronounced dead.

CBS New York reports that the pair had just come from the nearby Bean Post Pub, and that the husband has been taken into police custody and faces possible DWI charges.
