A woman was killed and at least five others were injured after two cars collided in Queens last night in an alleged drunk driving incident.

Police say that the incident happened around 4:20 a.m. Sunday at 120th Street near Linden Boulevard. A 25-year-old man was driving an Audi northbound on 120th Street with at least five other passengers in the car when he collided with a woman driving a Honda, who had been traveling westbound on Linden. Witnesses told the News that the Audi then slammed into a wall and flipped over as the Honda spun out.

A 22-year-old woman in the Audi was taken to Jamaica Hospital after sustaining head trauma and going into cardiac arrest; she was declared dead at the hospital. At least five others who had been in the car with her, including the driver, were taken to area hospitals for treatment, and all are expected to survive.

The 53-year-old female driver of the Honda, who cops said was the only person in that car, has been detained. The Post reports that the woman failed a breathalyzer test. Police add that charges are pending, and the incident is still under investigation.
