The body of Eutisha Revee Rennix — a pregnant woman who died after two city EMTs refused to treat her — will be exhumed for an autopsy, the Daily News reports. Rennix passed away on Dec. 9 after collapsing at work in a Downtown Brooklyn cafe where medics who were buying breakfast reportedly declined to help her.

The medical examiner's office did not conduct an autopsy before her funeral — a move that Rennix's family's attorney calls a "mistake" — though the cause of death was classified as cardiac arrest. Rennix's unborn child also perished.

EMTs Jason Green and Melissa Jackson said they followed "protocol, training and regulations," but both have been suspended and might face criminal charges.
