An unidentified woman has been rushed to Harlem Hospital after witnesses say she jumped from a moving subway train north of the 125th Street station on the 6 line. Officials say the woman jumped around 12:15 p.m. The FDNY could not immediately provide any information about her condition, but a source with knowledge of the incident tells us witnesses saw the woman jump from the space between the cars when the train was between stations.

However, an NYPD spokesman described the fall as "accidental," and said there is no criminality suspected. She is not likely to die, according to the spokesman, who added that the investigation is still underway. As of 2:50 p.m. there are no 6 trains between 3 Av-138 St and 125th St in both directions.

We'll update as more information becomes available.
