It's been a strange morning in Cobble Hill, Brooklyn, where a NY1 reporter was attacked by a woman who sneaked into the news van and started putting on makeup. Reporter Vivian Lee was in the neighborhood to cover the tragic death of Richard Schwartz, a prosecutor with the state attorney general’s office who was killed in a scaffolding collapse after lightning struck the Christ Church on Clinton Street. According to DNAinfo, a woman wearing a T-shirt, sweatpants and flip-flops (two major red flags right there) went into the news van and started giving herself a makeover with Lee's cosmetics.

Lee says she told the unidentified 24-year-old woman to leave, and she took a swing at Lee. The van's driver then dragged her out of the van, and the woman allegedly punched Lee in the neck. Then the driver wrestled her to the ground until police arrived to take her away. Lee went to the hospital with a minor throat injury, but she's okay. "It could've been worse," she told DNAinfo. "This does happen a lot to media people."
