A deaf woman is suing a Bronx hospital, claiming that a nurse's aide inappropriately touched her under the guise of giving her a sponge bath. "When I see an ambulance with the hospital's name on it, it shakes me. I don't know when I will ever be comfortable staying overnight in a hospital," the woman says in the complaint.

The 46-year-old victim was recovering from surgery for a broken arm at New York Hospital Queens when she says aide Samuel Doku fondled her breasts and private parts on May 11. Doku allegedly told the victim he would be giving her a sponge bath before sexually assaulting her; he also allegedly gave her a kiss on the lips after the attack.

Doku is charged with felony sexual abuse of a physically helpless person and forcible touching; he faces up to seven years in prison if convicted.
