Late last night a woman was attacked and robbed in the northwest corner of Central Park. The 31-year-old woman was approached by a man while she was walking at 108th Street near Central Park West. He punched her, demanded personal property and attempted to rip off her clothes. When he was unable to disrobe her, the man fled. There is no word yet on exactly what he stole and the suspect remains at large. The Road Runners Club of America has extensive advice on measures pedestrians can take to stay safe, including ones specific for the approaching winter.
