Cops are looking for a woman they say assaulted a 53-year-old man by throwing a hot cup of coffee in his face at a Midtown East subway station last month.
According to the NYPD, the man was attacked at 1 p.m. on May 7th at the 4,5,6 station at Lexington Avenue and 42nd Street.
The victim was reportedly walking up the stairs at the southbound platform when an unidentified female threw scalding coffee at his face.
She also started pushing him as he walked up the stairs, according to police.
The victim suffered pain and redness on the left side of his face, but was not hospitalized.
Cops describe the suspect as a female with blonde hair, last seen wearing a black shirt.
She is pictured in the photo on the right.
