A subway argument between two strangers devolved into violence last month when a woman slashed an elderly man with her shoe. According to police, the 75-year-old man got into a dispute with the woman on a southbound 2 train at roughly 11:45 a.m. on Friday, August 19th.
As the train pulled into the Times Square 42 Street station, police say the woman took off her shoe and struck the man with it before away through the station. The man was taken to Lenox Hill hospital and treated for a laceration to his head. (A police source tells the Daily News it was a "pointy high-heeled shoe."
The NYPD is still searching for the woman pictured here in connection with the assault. She is believed to be roughly 25-years-old, 5'7," 120 lbs with brown eyes and long black hair.
