A 35-year-old woman was allegedly the victim of a sexual assault in Central Park early this morning. According to police, the woman met a man at 113th Street and 7th Avenue at approximately 7:30 this morning (conflicting reports say just after 6 a.m., or around 6:45 a.m.). Cops say the two got into a conversation, then entered the park together where she says he sexually assaulted her.
According to A Walk In The Park, the assault occurred within the park at the Great Hill, near 103rd and Central Park West, and the woman was treated at a nearby hospital. The police say the investigation is ongoing, and they do not have any additional info at this time. This incident comes just a month after a woman was allegedly groped by a teen in the park.
