That was a quick storm! The sun's come out, the cold front has passed and now we're just waiting for the cold air to arrive. Today's high happened just around the time the rain was ending this morning. For the rest of the day we can expect breezy conditions as the temperature slowly falls from through the 40s. Happy Solstice!
The wraparound portion of the storm may brush the city later tonight. We aren't promising anything but there's a slight chance of a few light snow showers after midnight and into tomorrow morning. That's about as white as Christmas will get this year. The temperature is going to hold steady in the lower 40s all day tomorrow and once again it will be a windy day.
High pressure settles in on Sunday and looks like it will be here for several days. The temperature will finally be appropriate for late December as daily highs will be around 40 degrees and lows in the upper 20s through Tuesday. The next chance of precipitation, perhaps a mix of rain and snow, will be late Christmas night or early on Wednesday.
