There was a close call in Brooklyn earlier today when a gust of wind blew a stroller onto the elevated subway tracks at the J train station at Van Siclen Avenue—with the child still inside. An MTA spokesman tells us a good Samaritan jumped onto the trackbed and rescued the baby after the stroller fell onto the tracks at 1 p.m. The kid's savior has not yet been identified—the MTA says they're trying to locate the hero.

The FDNY tells us the bloodied child was rushed to Brookdale Hospital, but the extent of his injuries are still unknown. (The Post reports that the one-year-old is being treated for a head wound.) We'll update as more information becomes available.
