A 25-year-old man is in critical condition after three alleged cellphone robbers stabbed him in the back and chest in Williamsburg early this morning, according to the NYPD. The alleged robbery took place at the corner of North 5th and Berry Streets, about a block from the newly-opened Williamsburg Whole Foods.

Police responded to the scene at 2:13 a.m. on Monday, according to a spokeswoman for the department. The victim, who has not been identified, was discovered with stab wounds to the back and chest and transported to Bellevue Hospital.

The suspects, all male (two Hispanic, one white, cops said), fled the scene in a silver sedan, direction unknown.

No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
