A Williamsburg man is in critical condition after he was shot in the face in the lobby of his apartment building early yesterday.

According to the Post, the 32-year-old victim got into a scuffle with another man in his Hewes Street apartment building around 5 a.m. Things escalated considerably when the suspect suddenly whipped out a gun and fired it directly into the victim's face.

The victim was taken to Bellevue Hospital, where he is in critical condition. It's unclear what sparked the argument between the two men, and no arrests have been made.
