The police are searching for a bodega employee who allegedly slashed a customer in Brooklyn.

According to the police, the assault occurred on August 6th, at 3:40 a.m.: An employee of the deli at 48 North 6th Street (near Kent Avenue) "engage[d] in a verbal argument with the 23 year-old male victim. The argument became physical and the suspect did stab the victim with a knife causing lacerations to the victim's stomach."

The victim was treated at a hospital. The suspect fled, and police released images of him, describing him as having brown eyes and black hair, being about 5'8" and 140 pounds, and wearing a white shirt and tan slacks.
