Yes, there can never be too many stories about this...along the same lines fo Jake's post about the cockfighting ring arrests and following up our post about roosters in Harlem, there was an episode of Animal Precinct where they found cocks being trained for fighting, and it really isn't very pretty - the roosters are pumped on vitamins and shaved in various ways.
The only humor in cockfighting Gothamist can recall is the "Little Jerry" episode of Seinfeld. And there's Foghorn Leghorn, but he's mostly annoying, "I say!"
