A man was injured after being shoved into a tree on Monday afternoon, and now the police are looking for the culprit who did it.
According to the NYPD, the incident occurred at 3:53 p.m. in the 61st Precinct, in front of 1753 East 16 Street: "An unknown suspect pushed a 60-year-old male on the sidewalk, causing the victim to come in contact with a tree. The victim, who suffered pain and redness to his left ear, refused medical attention at the scene."
The suspect then fled southbound on East 16th Street. Police released video of a person of interest, describing him as wearing a grey sweatsuit.
