Last night's big storm soaked the region and left thousands of homes outside of NYC without power. In fact, there are some power outages in NJ that has left PATH service suspended (or maybe it's flooding?).
WCBS 2 reports, "The rain made a mess of a number of roads, including the Bronx River Parkway in Westchester where one driver was forced to climb out of his car window when his car got stuck in deep water." In Long Island, the winds downed trees and power lines.
Folks should go back to wearing warmed coats: According to NBC New York, "The unseasonably warm temperatures New Yorker have enjoyed over the last few weeks have moved out with the storm. Meteorologists expect temperatures to average around 45 degrees for the next week."
