Pretty much an average day today as high pressure hovers over southern New England. More sun than clouds this morning and more clouds than sun this afternoon as the temperature heads up to near 60 degrees. Very pleasant for Winter Weather Awareness Week.
Gusty southerly winds are expected tomorrow as the high pressure moves out to sea. That should warm the city into the upper 60s if not lower 70s. The warm treat comes with a wet trick. There's a slight chance of rain tomorrow afternoon and a somewhat better chance in the evening. Some of the Halloween rain could be accompanied by showers of ectoplasm and Dracula fish. Rain is more likely in Philadelphia.
A cold front looks like it will pass through town late Saturday night. Don't forget to turn your clocks back an hour! For the marathon on Sunday morning it looks like there will be cloudy skies, a slight chance of rain, temperatures in the lower 50s, and a slight north wind behind the front.
