A man who is suspected of robbing Greenwich Village restaurant Souen was apprehended by police after they recognized his face tattoo. Jorge Molina, 22, and another man are accused of breaking into the organic restaurant on November 14th and stealing approximately $670. Molina was caught after an officer saw him and remembered the bird tattoo on his face from a surveillance video of the burglary: "[Molina] was wearing similar clothes to what he had on in his wanted picture, and the tattoo on the face was obviously very distinguishable," said Sixth Precinct Lt. Keith Maresca.

Luke Stevens, a server at Souen, told DNAinfo previously that the burglars appeared to have broken in through a window on the roof. Police are still searching for Molina's accomplice. Molina, who has been charged with burglary, has multiple prior arrests, and was released from Rikers Island to felony theft charges on July 14. Maybe Molina could have escaped this time if only he had a face tattoo that was less recognizable?
